MY ALMA MATER.

Genius in a child without education is like a silver in the mind. It really takes a lot for a child to understand the trends of things. My parents actually did a lot instilling their status-quo in me.
I always want to have my way, freedom! At a tender age, a big mistake.  There's always a need of voice for guidance, from parents, lecturers, ( a mentor).

The orientation of students as regarding courses offered at school is short- way to success, AOC: Area of concentration, reading can be very tasking. Back then at school, we just want to have our way, either we wrote the right answer in the exam or not, it's with the pass-pass expectation and that's just so against the law of nature.

It's very rear you know, for there to be a cordial relationship between students and lecturers, the students don't care to have one as well as most lecturers, but with Baba, the whole thing is different, Engr Olufemi Osore, a man that always want the best in you, Baba is very meticulous and detail and I learnt a lot from him.

Drawing a picture of success, you have to work for it and that I see as a blessing in conformity with nature.
Calculations is a core part of engineering, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, mechanics of machine, and to we students, these courses sucks!! Those are the courses handled by Baba, a very hardworking man.
Whenever a test is to be conducted, Baba would tell you "go study so and so topics" and that I believe is American mentality, Baba had his Masters from The Iowa State university Ames, USA unlike here in Nigeria, you'll have to read the whole syllabus for a test of 30marks. And believe me, most students would still fail the test, I do pass and do mess up sometimes, it's calculations my dear, an error of 0.4 for 0.7 could put an hour work into jeopardy, that's engineering, you've got to be meticulous. Baba would paste the solution on the notice board after the test, then you'll realize where your error lies, a great man with a profound style of lecturing.

As said on my previous blog "failure is not an option in the face of strong convictions and the ability to study the trends of things in every situation". This I learn from Baba, Engr. Olufemi Osore.
Baba will then address the class after the test to know what your problems are, and if you did well, you'll get kudos from him. It's the joy of every parents to see their children excel, Baba is not just a lecturers but a father, while there are other lecturers that takes Joy in failing students, to what end?

My project was very interesting, I handled the write-up, Baba would read to details, I mean dot the i's and cross the t's to ensure correctness.
May God bless you sire, Engr. Olufemi Osore. The little I can give now is this.

My convocation was great, and it was fun with Baba, even though the turn out of my set was poor, I dine with Salau Sherif Alabi and Fatoki Odunayo, Sodunke Oluwatoyin Falilart made it more interesting the hundreds of photo-shots of a things with her iPad.

Tosin, a good guy, he played a great role in making the occasion interesting. A guy from a great family.

Baba was the only lecturers I know graduants were willing and happy to have a photo shot with, that tells you how kind hearted he is.

I miss the presence of a good friend, Olatilewa Quadri Ajani, currently out of the country, the award winner of my set, even though I won no award am glad my friend did, he's the best in my department and the entire school and I end up being the second runner up.

There are other lecturers i admire as well, a person of Engr. Awolola, Engr. Odunlami, Engr.Dada, Engr. Olagoke( even though he never thought me) and Mr Feyisetan. Long live Federal Polytechnic Ilaro.
In all, my convocation was great, how about yours?

THE HEART BEAT OF AN AFRICAN YOUTH. (KNOWLEDGE VS WISDOM )

OPULENT MAN OF PURE SAGACITY. He's indeed opulent with with lots of properties,  among his belongings is a desert,  this man to me is indeed opulent with the purest of sagacity. One day, he was walking through the desert, his own property, he then came across some ants pulling a fruit. For there to be a fresh fruit pulled by ants in this desert, there must definitely be a tree that bear the fruit, he said. And now, this man is determined to cut down the tree, why? He claimed that the tree is selfish, raising the question, how can this be the only surviving tree on this desert? Reaffirming the selfishness of the tree. At that particular point I envisaged this opulent sage man cut the tree, it got me thinking, how would the ants survive? At least it serves as a means of livelihood to them. But on the long run, I respected the results of this man's action. He cut down the tree, cut the trunk into pieces and planted it all over the desert. The reason being that the frui...

SILENCE SPEAKS.

Silence speaks, it tells me all I needed to hear. The ability to understand the language of silence is dependent on patience. And patience I believe is the greatest gift in life. i mean "the wise patience " For you to understand the language of silence,  you need to be conscious of your body state while reading into things. The heart beats plays a pivotal role in this, I mean maintaining a controlled heart beat in silence gives you a clear understanding of the language it speaks. And I tell you,  your patience is key to actualizing this. What do I mean "the wise patience "this I  refer to the ability to remain calm couple with the consciousness of your environment while reading into things. Patience and diplomacy should go inline. According to a quote by Albert Einstein, "knowledge is limited, imagination encircles the whole world" This gives a clear indication that imagination has no limit and for you to harness the power of imagination, you def...

THE HELPLESS.

Imagining a perfect world in a country like Nigeria might be a kind of dream with an empire of possibility of crumbling and dying. Born out of a family that sustain her livelihood on extremely planned financial status ( Neither rich nor poor) making a bright future remains inexplicable. At the age 25, still unable to turn the game around, what is it that is wrong? The economy? Nature of family background? Destiny? ( if you believe in one). So achieving a perfect world might turn out to be ideal rather than realisable, and why? Wrong leadership, maybe. Being a fresh graduate of mechanical engineering from a well known Polytechnic of which it's achievement demanded lots of struggle and sacrifices yet securing an avocation lies in the Political realm. Influence!! Had it been we've got the opportunity to get to know a close ally of the governor (OGUN STATE) it would have been easy, what nonsense! When the result is there to speak. Self-employment on the other hand is l...
